Well then, this mod is what you have been looking for. This is a far better version than discontinued Retinues Redone with ability to disable retinue system.
This mod adds more depth to retinues system as well as change vanilla retinues in both: size and composition.
It is intended to work with vanilla game as well as HIP mod.
