It is difficult to release a sequel which is as good as R and D, because that mod was a major blast.

I guess RaD 2 would be in a rebel base like white forest where you would need to solve puzzles in the base to enable the radio antenna and outland puzzles like roping a tree to a car so it falls and forms a bridge over the river.
If the players need a explanation tell them that you are a different person as the only one alive after the combine attacked the resist.net base and disabled the antenna , right after they done that they started moving to the RaD facility.
