Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
This video will be at the beginning of a CG. There are some other videos that will follow. Some you know, some not.
Programs used: Blender, RAD Video-Tools
Time worked on: 2h
Time to render: 14h
I could do without the intro. units are better
I disagree, I think little things like these make the mod all the better.
(buried)
you'd really rather have this than a super tank or air battle droids? there's a reason why alliance releases updates so much faster.
And why it's so much worse.
The problem with ventures that depend on a small group of people is that the longer they go on, the greater the chance something will happen to a key member. The release was stalled with cool, but superfluous content and probability caught up with it. No release for two years, but at least you can watch this over and over.
Love it :)
why can't i play moddb videos?
Go to youtube and look it up that is what I used to have to do
A quality intro for a quality mod.
cool but i cant believe it took 14 hours to render most videos i render(not 3d animation in vegas) take around an hour or two.
trust me or not. it took 14h to render. i rendered right in blender.
look at all those lights and think again...
fox legal hammer smash?
This is freakin' funny. It is technically out of key, but I could care less!
anstatt das die sich um den mod kümmern welcher sowieso schon viel zu lange in der production ist stellen die solche animationen her !!!
i guess that you have absolutely no idea how much work it is to create a mod. and making animations like this is as well part of game development than coding new units, which actually is the easiest part at all
Surely this is copyrighted?
