Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
I know we said we already finished working on features for 1.2 but we nearly missed this task. Unfortunately z3r0x did not left us his version of the map we had to create a new one. because it's priority was scheduled lower we came back to it this week.
In the pictures you can see the Taris in the evening but we also have a sunset version for the map.

It took a minute for me to notice the city. I thought I was looking at an ocean! It sounded cooler when I thought it was a ocean.
I love seeing new designs for the space combat, since the space skybox sometimes get's bland for some areas
What happened to z3r0x?
Nobody knows, he disappeared around 2 years ago, that's why there aren't many updates, the devs are busy to remake the stuff which he made.
some say he went to a place that all the good modders go others say he is making a new mod that will be the best but I just think he might just be with his family.
I say aliens. xD
I agree.
Wait, does that mean there will be atmospheric battles?
Finally! I've always wanted atmospheric battles! The idea of a seeing a destroyed MC80 plummeting into the city below while the star destroyers clean up the rest of the rebels is epic.

How are the ships at different heights? What am I missing?
If you're asking how they are in atmosphere, that's just a different skybox.
If you're asking how one ship is physically lower than another, EaW naturally spaces ships out according to their ship classification. Capitals are lower than frigates, etc.
It may also just be the angle of the picture.
I think hes talking about how all the ships are literally at differently levels if you look you can see one venator above another and I believe that's the front of a acclamator behind them
Radialthrone1: That's no angle...It's a space station!
Reddead33: Exactly. I've seen pictures like this one before. Same ships, different levels.
Nice Job, great fact Rakghouls were made by the Sith.
By one of the First Sith, Karness Muur.
