Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Is it the mission objectives box? It kinda looks like it was shifted.

You are defending but can order reenforcements? Does that mean you can manualy place your fleet while you are defending the planet?

Everyone below is talking about garrisons. Well, that would be great, but wasn´t qiute what I was thinking.
If you have a fleet in orbit over a planet that gets attaked by enemy force your fleet will allways be placed in a defencive perimeter around your starbase. If you are attacking you can place your fleet manualy. The Defender can only do so if his unit cap is reached but still has more ships in reserve. That gives the attaking force an advantage over the defender.
Would be great if the defending player could decide whether or not to bring in any ships into battle and if where they should be placed.

The extra garrison upgrade granted a starbase the ability to call in additional warships in additional to fighter and bomber squadrons? Been a while since I last played RAW so probably wrong.

Is it the little computer button just left of the STOP button near the bottom?

The control bar doesn't seem to reach all the way across the screen? I don't know.

No thats a resolution thing, if you play on lower resolutions (like the ones that were popular when the game(s) game out then the bar will go all the way across. Good guess though

added additional upgrade levels to the "additional Garrison" space station upgrade, allowing for more warships to be called in, giving the station a greater chance of surviving a large attack?

I'm assuming the reinforcement upgrade now allows you to call in units on demand.

Well you guys have spotted correctly the garrison upgrade is tiered now and although you are in a defending position you can call reinforcements. However nobody found out yet how those two changes work together and what it will do for you in detail.

So keep guessing and be creative ;)

oooh, oooh, I think got it, the garrison units get added to your reinforcements box thingy so that you can jump them in anywhere you want rather than them just coming in near the station

I agree. I see a lot of people saying that this would happen if you have too many defenders for the unit cap, but you can easily see that there are not many defenders. What I guess happens is that with the garrison upgrade you get garrison units added to your reinforcements.

Everyone is talking about boxes and things, but the main noticeable thing it the fact that the superweapon buttons isn't randomly grayed out. :)

And this picture tells us that you found out how prevend the entire defending fleet from randomly spawn until the unit-cap is full?

If so, would you pls tell us how? I would like change that in game for vanilla and any mod i want tu play in the future Because its really disturbing/ annoying to always have the defending Fleet spawn without any control by the Player. ^^

Description

In this picture you can one of the new features we have added into Republic at War 1.2. It actually was a workaround for a bug or failure we discovered and decided to make it to much more than a simple fix.
Can you spot the details thats revealing the feature and tell what it does precisely ?
