Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Despite what some *** on MSN thinks.. those engines are not photoshopped. Those are the engines in game. We have put alot of work into the engines of most of the ships.

Are Jedi fighters gonna be evolving? Like they start with the Delta-9 and then get upgraded to the ETAs? And can we please have Jedi in their respective cruisers with the ability to go fighter? It just seems to have a bit more realistic sense...
In any case- great work (are the tie-like wings gonna be foldable?)...
I remember that in firefox mod in galactic conquest, most jedi start out in a special, slightly more powerful cruiser that spawns them. I kinda like it since I couldn't build anything because i was way over my pop cap :P

Why don't you make for the first 2 or 3 tech levels the original Jedi Starfighters we saw in Star Wars Episode 2 and at the last tech levels those models?
No point.. besides I love the Eta2 design much more than the Delta7
Besides Anakins Fighter changed many times. He flew a Yellow Delta7B in the show and a modified Delta7 in the cartoon and then he flew this one. In EP2 you dont see him fly any fighters. He flys in a space bus, and in Padme's ship. The only ship you see him fly in the movies is a N-1 when hes a little kid and this one in Ep3. Obiwan flies a Delta7 in EP2 and a ETA2 in Ep3.
The amount of code is staggering. I would have to code in multiple iterations of the same hero for each tech to have the ships change. Its just not worth it.

Hey, just so you know, Z- I'm not really forcing you to do anything... Have those ETAs as the only Jedi fighters if you want... It's entirely your call. I may not like it in the end (doubtfully), but I will defend your decision to the death!
