A nice little mod that aims at bringing the life inside a Republic Assault Cruiser (RAC), or Venator, to life from the Clone Wars in a fight to the death over the outer-rim planet of Sarapin.
Sarapin, a vital planet to the survival of the Republic, provides 80% of the core worlds power. This makes it a strategic target for the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Republic utilizes the planets volcanoes and lava flows for its power. In order to protect such a valuable prize, surrounding the system is numerous defensive stations and platforms. Numerous Republic ships were also sent to guard the system.
Sarapins defenses was said to be near impenetrable. CIS leader Sev'rance Tann was tasked with the crippling of the planet and its systems.
In order for Tann to get to the surface, her forces had to get passed the defense grid and ships orbiting the planet. This is where the CIS's challenge lies. And where the surprise attack began.
Republic did not expect the attack on Sarapin, especially by such an enormous force. However, he first wave of the attack by Tanns forces has failed. The remaining Republic forces and defense platforms lie heavily damaged, with fresh CIS troops bearing down on them.
Word has been sent, and Echuu Shen-Jon and his apprentice Naat Reath are on their way to the system, hopefully Republic reinforcements will arrive soon.
In this small mod, you either take part in a battle for survival
aboard a Republic Assault Cruiser, or attempt to destroy it. Wave-two of the assault is featured in the Movie Battles II mod, defend or destroy.

Here we have a Republic Assault Ship that will be seen in the skybox, and possibly a ship you can fly around with. As well as the three main characters for the scenario: Sev'rance Tann, Echuu Shen-Jon and his Padawan Naat Reath.
First we have the Acclamator or Republic Assault ship. This one is also textured like the Clone Wars variant because well, its a bit more colorful and less gray and boring.
Second, we have the main characters that you will be able to play as, or fight against in the Siege mode of the mod.
Sev'rance Tann
Sev'rance Tann is the leader of Separatist (CIS) Forces in the Battle of Sarapin.

Echuu Shen-Jon is a Jedi Master who lost his first Padawan to Sev'rance Tann. He is commanding the Republic Forces in the area.

Naat Reath is the Padawan of Echuu Shen-Jon and also the sister of Echuus first Padawan, Stam Reath.

btw, is there gonna be an airlock to get outside the ship and walk on the top?
Theres an airlock, but it does not give you access to walk on the ship.
I guess that'd be unrealistic anyway :)

A cruiser is more the Republic Cruiser, rather than a venator... that cruiser is like 1/8th the size of this. This definitely warrants a destroyer based on size.
I don't think it matters. It didn't appear in any of the THREE Star Wars films anyway.
excuse me. battle over coruscant(revenge of the sith) there were dozens of the damn things(venators) in battle looking quite like the star destroyers not cruises.
Unless by THREE films u mean original 3
just because they look like the SDs doesn't mean that they are SDs.
and yes, i rely on what lucas says, because he created star wars, his word is law in star wars, and acording to him, the star destroyers (the first class of Star destroyer being the VICTORY class SD) were first designed 6 years AFTER the clone wars, ERGO the Venator isn't a SD, but in fact a heavy cruiser as lucas has decraet it to be.
