Remix Escalation is an Expansion Pack styled mod focused on bringing an entirely unique feel to every general. Hundreds of new units, powers, buildings, and three new Generals have already been added. Remix has been hosted on Revora for several years and is being added to ModDB to share with the wider community.

Description
The Fafnir heavy assault mech.
The Fafnir has an interesting background story. It was originally modeled by Viator for use in The first versions of Remix. Creator and I have always shared content freely so it soon ended up in Contra as well. Since then Creator has improved the animations and added several little details. The Contra version has seen several weapon changes over the years, and even has a forcefield, while the Remix version has kept the same weapons.
When looking at the two versions of the unit it's interesting to see just how much the mods have grown distinct from each other over the years.
I agree, which is why I believe all creators should share their content freely to provide infinite variety and gameplay with wonderful units such as these.
Based off of battletech. Nice model/texture most batttletech models don't look so good.
Yeah it is. I've been a MechWarrior fan for a very very long time. I'm a big fan of 35-55 ton mechs myself, but the Fafnir has a good look and was a little less overused than the Madcat or Atlas.
