Reign of Shadow is an established modification of Diablo II, based on patch 1.10. Just to name some of the many features, there are new Uber-Levels, Items/Runewords/Sets and worked-over Skills. It's closely related to LOD but on some aspects we came up with completely new ideas - such as the changed charm principle: All Rare/Magic and Craft charms are deleted and some unique charms, adeptable to your own wishes, are now the way the cookie crumbles. Of course, RoS is mainly influenced by the former modder Surtur and his successor Spike. Nonetheless the community has a huge impact in the development.

hmm I've made it to act 3 with a sorceress and it won't let me enter the sewers? I think I recall having this issue before as well but I could get in with other characters. what's the deal? there's no way to continue the game at all.
Hey, Loving this mod so far but i have a question, I cant add sockets to items, I gave up looking how to, I read on the fourm about using the cube and " patatoes " using 2 to add 1 socket but nothing happens. Using 1.10 with D2SE. Help please.
Socketing DOES work, It was me using a wrong item, So i am reporting for anyone wondering this too. The item you now use it " Rainbow essence " They start droping in act 5 normal + ( NM/Hell all acts ) This is the best mod ever and I hope devs keep up on it.

2 questions:
1. Can you fix Critical strike (Amazon) - Hard Points should add 10 damage per level but it doesnt add anything
2. Is development of mod gonna continue? FINAL means 4.0 FINAL and there is gonna be 5.0 or does it mean like FINAL end of mod development?
1.) it actually works, but only in melee - also, it's a passive, so it doesn't update correctly. but u can test it on monsters to see that your dmg actually increases.
2.) its final of 0.90 - we had like 6 betas and 4 version before the final release. we will release a new version after summer.
I dont know if its supposed to carry on to ranged attacks too, but if it is supposed to, I believe it doesnt because that damage is on attack effect which doesnt apply to ranged weapons, same as Torch on amazon with throwing spear/bow/crossbow doesnt ever use Firestorm because its on attack effect and basically ranged attacks doesnt count as attacks

The stat itself only appeared in vanilla on melee weapons, due because of display bugs. Its probably not coded to work with ranged attacks but they didn't excluded it either..
