A fictive story presenting the USSR's final attack over the US at the end of RA2, ended with its fall and the birth of the Brotherhood of Nod.
A more advanced weapon than the standard
Kalashnikov issued to soviet conscripts, the
AK-74 is the standard weapon for soviet commandos.
It also comes as a SMG for in-door fighting. As a
note, compared to allied weaponry, the AK-74 has
been specially modified to house a very large
magazine (especially the SMG version) with the
cost of accuracy on long range fighting.
Also, soviet troopers are to be announced that
they may choose the type of AK-74 and AK-47 they
want, based on their alternative fire : single
shot/burst, grenade launcher, bayonet and melee
attack with the but of the weapon.
when you render- PLEASE USE Perspective view! not user!! it distorts image! p.s.- im a modeler
ok, thanks for the info
Hey what do u use to make models and where can i get it
Halo 3, just as a bit more information, it's not that the view is becoming "distorted", it's due to the fact the camera is still in an orthographic mode. Unfortunately, this is a bit of a problem i used to see amongst max when you rotate top/front/left and so on views. You'll find when using Maya, they lock out any rotations on those views, i'm not sure about any newer versions of max. Anyhow, back to the point.
The model itself is looking pretty good. My one comment will have to be on the smoothing of the normals, there are no hard edges which makes it look a bit waxy. Also where abouts will this model be used in the game?
Well, the model's quite old. Looking on it now it does look jellyish. No worries though, it will be optimized or remade, depending on what's best.
As for the usage of the model, well, as I said in the description, it will probably go to Commando type units (like Boris maybe ? ) .
