I say Enginer looks like Space Marine, so that anti-tank guy (i think he's Anti-tank isn't he ?) looks like Gurdsman from Imperial Guard :P Really good piece of work guys! Congrats !
No, he's artillery infantry, early artillery for soviet infantry and armor support :) Yet against the venicles shells is quite strong.

I prefer this one. More down to Earth, IMHO.
The Allies should be the ones with the crazy complicated tech. The Soviet aesthetic should really be more brutally functional.
Всё же считаю этот вариант более рациональным! Но у второго будет ещё чувак в скваде типо заряжающий) Но этот вариант можно использовать тож сквадами ну там по три) И все будут вести миномётный огонь а в том варианте только половина сквада ведёт арт обстрел. Я бы добавил ему ещё Автомат ну там ППШ ну или АК Как апгрейд. для самообороны на близких дистанциях. Хотя это может быть лишним) Ну я лишь предложил вы рассмотрите
