The Lasher Tank is the Main Battle Tank of the Syndicate. Based on a Soviet designs for a Soviet Light Tank it was eventually stolen by Yuri when he had defected from the Soviets. What the Lasher Tank lacks in superior firepower and Durability it compensates for it with what the Syndicate call as the Whiplash Shells which while initially weak allows the Lasher Tank to whittle down enemy armor. the Whiplash Shells have also been reported of being able to deal stronger damage to Psychic & Robotic Targets from Lasher Tanks with experienced crewmen.
So do the Whiplash shells debuff the health / armor of enemy units?
Yes. Think of something like the Oxidizer in MO where it lowers the value of the armor on a unit but it also deals damage. So the longer you keep attacking an enemy the more damage they take from attacks from any unit. It'll disappear if you get away from them fast enough for the debuff to disappear.
