Red Alert 3 - Unleashed is set 26 years after Uprising. A total conversion of Red Alert 3, it will include 3 totally new factions with all new units, buildings and powers.
The place where ore is brought to be turned into credits. Comes with one ore truck with the option to build more. Designed by Casey Fallon.
That looks fantastic!
paradox should help unleashed. and unleashed should help paradox! it fits! .................................... Right?
END OF THE LINE!!!
The buckets, they are everywhere. =D
buckets, buckets everywhere XD
Money, money, money...
Dosh! Grab it while its hot.
Money, money, money makes the world go round ! Youtube.com
If Futuretech's stuff is made of synthesised matter from energy, why do they need ore? The model is great, though.
They need ore to create units. :P Ore gets sent to a central processing location, which then gets beamed to the FutureTech Orbital Satellite Network. Thus, matter is available for construction no matter where in the world you are.
Ore-> processing-> refined ore -> Energy-> Matter.
Makes sense.
I know about the first law of thermodynamics, yes, but unless the entirity of ore is lighter than iron, fusion of ore will not yield any output energy, instead requiring energy for the fusion reaction, and thus could not create the energy for construction Futuretech uses.
Why do people feel like talking reality in games like the red alert series. That's like talking religion to a atheist. Red Alert is the least realistic game ever, so why even bother.
Atheism is as much a religion as any others, but I digress. We like arguing such things because it's a hobby. Unlike other people you often hear complaining about realism, we love RA3. Well, I can't speak for CRJ400, but that's how I see things.
I do love RA3, I'm just interested in these sort of details. Futuretech is my favourite Unleashed faction, so I am interested in hearing more about them.
Also, talking about religion to an Atheist is not 'futile'. I'm agnostic, a friend is religious, and another friend is atheist, and we have some quite interesting conversations about belief and ethics.
You can't create or destroy matter, but you can transport it :)
Like all factions in RA3, ore is converted into credits. FutureTech is a corporation, and like any corporation, money is the be all and end all of business. Without credits you can't maintain or run the orbitting station which is the key to FutureTech's structure and unit deployment.
That makes a lot more sense now, thank you. I just didn't see how it would produce energy, I misunderstood what it was used for.
THAT is one of those really good models.
Love the magma. You did a really great job with the main parts of the concept, better than I imagined them :P
it looks very great, but what is that little red ring for that all most reminds me of a inflatable inner tube or is it the flotation device that keeps the ore refinery from sinking into the water? when the ore refinery is built on water.
The Dome with the Blue windows? Could you make it proportionate to the concept art? The Bloom for the Smelted Ore isn't enough. The Hump at the back could be larger.
awesome
Great model!
crj400 the refinery isnt meant to create energy itself its a money-maker, refineries are normally for ofcourse refining/converting something into something else (for profit), the resulting materials CAN be used as a source of energy - such as from an oil refinery but its not as tho the plant itself is generating energy, thats what power plants are for :p
That is a nice looking refinery :)
IMO the crane could've been made to look more like the typical truss/cross-beam structure, otherwise it looks like a platform where it should have steps leading up to it & a railing around it and maybe an engineer walking back and forth.
Who wouldn't want to walk on a crane?
My thinking was Futuretech = Refined to perfection = No ugly cross beams! (that's for the UC)
That's better than even the EA ones. Nice work!
Very nice!
awesome!
very good model, it realy fits the game.
Money, that's what i want!
We've got the have, money.
Great work on it!
