This mod also aims to enhance the unit graphics, particle systems, weapon effects and visuals throughout the game. Numerous bug fixes, as well as improved sound effects covering everything from unit weapons and explosions, to unit movement and ambient noises will offer Revolution players a Red Alert 3 experience like no other.

Given that most of the maps in RA3 are ridiculously bright, having a new selection of far darker maps is a welcome relief! :D

is this company of heroes? Wow doesn't look like RA3 anymore! This actualy looks like an alterantive universe with alternative design, not a comic book!
I used to say RA3 got great concept artists but failed at turning them to models. Now I see they just failed with mapping :O
Or they relied too much with unclouded skies and bloom effects.
yeah, the maps is fine I meant they screwed them up with global lighting and bloom, which is a part of the map.
The main reason people complains about RA3 is the comic look. That a game gets hated just because someone maxed op the bloom effects is just silly.
Seeing such a map makes me sad about the fact that there is no Yuri to be there...

Yikes. Have to say the gritty look doesn't work for RA3. But if that's what you want, that's cool, just my opinion.
Bear in mind that these effects are only for a few select maps. There are plenty of bright, bloomy and colourful maps to play on!
What? You must be joking. Romania setting is the best setting in Red Alert 3, it even makes Soviet architecture bearable in this game. :P

Yeah, the RA3 hate was what really turned me off those forums :( Even as a moderator on Revora I felt as if I was helpless in trying to stem the tide of endless whinging.
I am considering moving back, though. If indeed what you say is true, then hopefully I may receive a far warmer reception :)
Well, there is an RA3 mod hosted at Revora currently, and no-ones complained. Poeple are preoccupied with C&C4.
