Does it have the same payload as in RA3, or has that been changed? Also, awesome model!
If you set up a good run, it drops considerably more bombs before and after the target. It's more in line with a powerful protocol or small superweapon now!
I'm guessing that makes it the Allied end-of-game base razer. Which was always my favourite way to use the Century, so I'm certainly happy!

Nope, we're implementing a new structure just for it. Strategic Air Command. Requires Airfield and Max Clearance. SACs house one Century Bomber, and cost 1000.

it would be cool if it had a tail gunner (even if it was very weak) for the sake of defending it from aircraft, for no other reason apart from it would be really cool
That will actually be a heroic upgrade, and yes it would be cool.

Considering that these beasts are now even more difficult to acquire in large numbers, would there be a stat increase to make a little more durable or something like that?
