Funnily enough, not really. O.O I wanted to put more emphasis on the main gun than on the older model, and this happened.
I am hoping that the main cannon has a very long cooldown rate, maybe it is the units special ability (If it can have one besides transforming that is). Because something as powerful as that looks to be would be a tad overpowered if it can fire with any degree of frequency.
....Or is it perhaps the father of all Air-to-Air weapons?

It is, in fact, the Imperial trump card against heavy aircraft like Kirovs. It does have a long cooldown and a large minimum range, though.
I hope the Achilles comes out in the next release, because Apollos aren't going to do much against that.
Does this phalic instrument of destruction (the main gun) can target ground units?
Just out of curiosity, how will the main cannon work, would it work in a similar manner to the Giga Fortress in 'Head Mode' or will it be similar to when you shoot a Wave-Force Tower/Artillery?
Give me one of these over a Giga-Fortress any day!
I really hope that this thing gets balanced. So far it looks like overkill... cool design though.
I will cost like a bajillion dollars, you will need ALL THE TECH, and probably will build it's self up with a nanocore so it's weak to airstrikes when constructing.
Speculation on the core. They did that for the Giga Fortress but everyone hated the GF.
