An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Just a poll.

If you want to, you can make a post explaining why you chose a certain faction.

You can also discuss how you play your faction too.

you have any idea how it feels to steamroll someones base with apocs, and 50 conscripts with atleast 3 kirovs above them while the rockets from iron curtained dreadnaughts (so they dont take any damage with their epic secondary) to the tune of Soviet March?

It feels badass, and thats what's the whole point of Red Alert (RA2 atleast)

To me red alert 2 (yuri's revenge) did not feel very strategical, you could always see the enemies base, and to me, it was all about building mass units. There were so many cheese tactics, that hamburgers tasted like cheeseburgers while playing it.

Confederates, because with them you don't have to wait around for the next tier to make a serious attack because the enemy bought a few turrets.

You don't have to wait long for any faction, the soviets have the myeche, the allies have swan and the horizon (they could already pick of defenses with vidicators), I am not sure what the rising sun has, but they will probably be balanced.

It may be easies with the confederates, but anyone can pick of turrets in paradox.

You asked us our favorite faction, not the full and complete justification of it.

Soviets. I'm an all-around fan of the direct style of combat(Allies and Confeds are difficult to get used to) that the SU uses, as well as it's simple, no-nonsense units. that said, I have a thing for battleships and versatility, so Rising Sun is my second choice

the empire because of the king oni, mecha tengu, sea-wing and shogun battleship

The Confederates can start getting rid of turrets earlier than the others, with a unit that does not deal reduced damage to buildings.

Anyway, I also like the Confederate focus on rushing and alternative, sneaky tactics. A long time ago I used to try to play the Allies like that.

Rising sun, early harassment unit that can turn into AA as soon as the first tank comes out (although pretty useless now) and tsunami tanks, amphibious attacks. Heavily damaged? not a prob use secondary and drive away as you laugh, VX ultimate AA although you put your payload but now you're trying to escape. BAM you die and finally King Oni, mass a few of these and use secondary = gg.

SHOGUN BATTLESHIP.

Try Musashi. Im seriously torn right now. Soviets have so many cool new spanking units I love them, but I love the tactical options the Allies provides.

Ah, I await either the Chinese or Syndicate. Or, if it should ever be made official, the Combine.

Turreting, turreting, turreting.....though I really like artillery AND turreting! I guess artillery would win out oversell though, there is a reason it's supposed to be the God of War...

I know your stance on China :P

As for me, Empire. Of the fan factions, Combine. :P
