An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

I have noticed that the map suggestion page has been sort of abandoned. All maps are pending for months! Maybe years! I think the team needs somebody to fix up that page.

They haven't been able to do an official Paradoxcast to clear up suggestions in a long time- it will probably be cleared up when/if they are able to.

A bit off-topic, I feel that map suggestions should come with sketches or some other illustration as to what the map is- its a much, much easier format to view the information.

Yep description is pointless without a sketch.

Which is a bit of a problem for me, as I cannot draw to save my life.

Just to set the record straight: don't expect an official go through of the maps. A lot of it is going to be at the mapper's and Sketch's discretion. The suggestions are more to give ideas to the map makers. More suggestions=a greater pool for us to draw from.

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call The Twilight Zone

All it has to do is provide a rough layout of the terrain (where ramps and other dividers are) as well as where other stuff is. The best way to do this is probably a map with symbols and a key, not an artsy approach.

You probably wouldn't believe it but I can't draw for my life either. And I make the freaking maps XD. But seriously all you need us a rough sketch detailing ore nodes start positions water cliffs and tech buildings.
