Ah. Never played MO. The Raijin Tank is a direct inspiration from Rise of the Reds's Wotan Array.

Description

Just a heads up that I've started working on the next patch, version 1.0.3.

The Raijin Tank is a new unit for the Pacific Shogunate, taking the place of the Samourai Mech. Unimpressed by the Apollo Tank developped in the USA, japanese engineers have redesigned the sonic technology and militarized it with their own style. The result is the Raijin Tank, a sonic tank enriched with EMP property. This version of the Apollo Tank does a bit less damage that the original one, has a bit less range, but is also sightly beefier and, more importantly, will short-circuit its target, making it a sitting-duck. Due to the special frequency used by its weapon, it is also able to target aircrafts, but cannot EMP them.

The Samourai, on the other hand, is completely scrapped. I wasn't satisfied with it, from a mechanical point of view, as it was but a mere hovering Mammoth Tank. The Raijin Tank seemed the perfect addition to the Pacific Shogunate's arsenal.
