Hello. I wanted to post some ideas, plans, and finished content here.
Mod was done again, from scratch, on brand new engine (my own fork of OGSR engine with CoP Rendering).
There's no crashes now.
- Clean CoP shaders as base
- Brand new tonemapping along with bloom algorithm
- Ported some of old OGSR graphics (water reflections)
- Mrnmwar's Screenspace Sunshafts
- DX9, DX10, DX11 (there's also revamped static lightning!!)
- Nightvision shader
- Gasmask system (du/dv - diffuse textures, visor refractions (thank you Meltac!), and raindrops)
- New DoF
- Lens Flares
- Lens Dirt
- New textures
- Remaked vanilla weather
About gameplay i can say something... there's no many new things.
I've partialy implemented crafting system, it will be used for important things... just wait for it.
AI Pack was deleted due to crashes (incompability with my engine, and just errors in code)
Dynamic Hud was redone with full gasmask system support (shaders, post processing effects, and other shit)
Ballistic were more balanced, armors too.
I want to say something also about my ideas.
I really want to recompile all maps, with highest possible quality. Change their lightning, add dynamic objects, remove old tree models, change foliage. And most important - fix bugs.
I will stick with vanilla storyline, maybe i will learn about quests, and i will extend it. We will see.
