Hello, you sexy little beast. Looking great man, keep it up. If I had to nitpick it would be that the texel density is a little off in places. But it's a solid design.

Looks like metal coffin.

And like broken IAF - without "wings" and sealed cannon.
The cannon part should be remade to make it different frigate, IMHO.

I gave pouk permission to use my turanic raiders. I'm glad he's putting them to such good use =)

impressive render too - though the hue does make it look a little wonky somehow...

Syrtees: You don't read the description, do you...

Mololu: Wonky? Well I guess so, the original was the orange one you can see in the description, but that turned out way too "sweet" with all that orange and red. I didn't like it and I just shifted the hue far away between the green and blue, which I like much better.
But the best way is simply your own, it would be interesting if everyone could tune the colors to their own taste.

It just makes the colors look a wee bit off but then again, I'm so used to seeing these things ingame it's more dumb nitpicking on my part. The idea of being able to change the hue... now that's interesting. Really like that

I remember cool little indie game that could do that. I think it used a simple postpossessing effect to change the color "glasses" you wore.

Aha! found a link: Radicalplay.com

Homeworld 2 doesn't support post-processing... unfortunately.

Ah, I'm not the only one aware of Radicalplay.com then! My favorite is the need for madness game.

Description

Another piece of Mololu's Turanic raiders. This time rendered, not an in-game shot. And now I'm absolutelly sure I'll make more of those renders, they just look so much better. So if you like this one, you can look forward to more.

And of course the classic orange one:

A note: the in-game colors are the ones on the orange picture, REARM Turanics have blue windows (like in original HW) and blue warheads (on this ship are the EMP ones). By coincidence, shifting the hue to the green tones set it back to Mololu's color code with yellow windows and red torpedoes.

And obviously, credits for the ship go to Mololu and his PtV.
