RealRTCW is an overhaul mod for critically acclaimed Wolfenstein classic. It features new renderer, expanded arsenal, rebalanced gunplay,and HD graphics!
Major update including further polishing, improved controller support and weapon fire modes
1. Download "realrtcw3.3.zip"
2.Unzip the "realrtcw3.3.zip" archive somewhere.
3. Open "!copy the content of this folder into rtcw root directory" folder which is located in unzipped archive.
4.Copy everything in this folder to your clean and legit installation of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Replace files if needed.
5. Launch RealRTCW.x64.exe to play the mod.

Hello, i'm really happy again to see another update for the mod and it is amazing as usual.
However, i face a problem since the previous updates and this which is that the game shows a black screen when i open with rend2 but sounds and mouse clicks are working im not sure if this problem related to my setup or not so, here is my laptop setup and i hope there is a fix for it:
Intel Core i5 M 460 2.53Ghz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4650 1GB latest update
4GB Ram
Windows 7 64bit
Overall the mod is amazing and working good on opengl1

Sir, interfacing menu of Real-RTCW v3.1 is modified like TDA-remastered 1.25? Also i was looking for interface like mission health bars, Objective clip-board, new mission status update like Wolfenstein-2009 game. Please give little info about this.

i hate to be a nitpick, but you know the game came out in 2001, right? i'm not saying the game hasn't been improved, it has, very much so. into the second decade of the 21st century, yes. into the 21st century, no. no SgtMkVIII and brutal doom is bringing it into the 21st century.

So this version wont work with GOG RTCW?
The main files of RTCW is the same on all platforms. GOG RTCW is fully supported, just you can't download or use RealRTCW from Steam, all you need is RealRTCW 3.1 build here on MODDB.

Hello. I cant start the game because when the loadingscreen appears the game freezes and can only shut it down with task manager.
I have started it with RealRTCW.x64.exe
the mod is in the Steam version of RTCW Dir, tried with steam running and not running.
addon pack is installed too, no other mods & patches installed, Steam installed RTCW then i copied this mod and the addon pack.
i tried with both render version, safe mode, 800x600 windowed, and 1920x1080 fullscreen, nothing changes, tried loading the savegame that is in the mod, same.
Training map does this too, the This is your favourite day... screen pops in then exe not responding :)
I7-6700K, 16G DDR4 2133MHz, GTX1070 OC 8GB, game is on a HDD.

Try use RealRTCW.x32.exe
that not starting, black screen for 4-5 secs then exits. but now its working after 10 minutes of "not responding" it loaded the game now i can play this great mod. each loading screen is a little bit too long but worth it.

Sorry,there was a fix for major bug with a shaking camera. There will be no such unexpected updates in the future.

Hi, WolfETPlayer , here is a bug, when we run a spdevmap, for enable cheats, if you save the map, with cheats, then if you exits the map, and quit to menu or quit to windows, when you try to load that map, cheats are blocked, please fix that, thanks for your hard work.
I try using vendeta and normal rtcw, with same results.

So, i see FAQ from Steam, an it says:
How to activate cheats?
Activate console with SHIFT+ESC and then type:
/spdevmap *mapname* (e.g /spdevmap escape1)
This will load map of your choice with activated developer mode.
You can use cheats now.
Then you can add, but you cant save games, because if you do that load games dont enable cheats.

Just installed RealRtCW v3.11, TDAv1.25, Venom 6.5.6 and Nvidia Shaders. WOW, Sooooo many fixes, VERY stable and Well Done!!!!! Hats off and Many thanks to all you involved for the Incredible work !!!!! Also, the Nvidia now works well in the original levels as well as the addon levels.

I face a problem it is that i set the geometric detail at high or very high and when the next map is loading the game crashes :(
The new MP34 skin looks pretty bad...the one in last version is more appealing. Maybe is the problem with the light?
What happened to those soldier who carry panzerfaust? They don't drop their panzerfaust anymore after get killed.
They do. Some of them like panzerdude on baseout map - dont.
It happends at swf trainyard and the ruins map too.

There will be no complete edition. You just have to download addons pack.

Are you launching the mod from WolfSP.exe?
If you do you shouldn't. Mod must be launched from its own .exe.

x86 начала вылетать на старте. Ума не приложу почему - в коде ничего не менялось практически.
Hi there ! great job on this mod ! It looks really nice. But i would like to ask if there is any way to play in 4k resolution. Because what ever i try in the menu, i dont see 380x2160 as an option.
With the venom mod i have played the game in 4k, so the game can do .. I have tried adding in autoexec.cfg and wolf config, but the game remains on full hd resolution.
Is there any way to change settings so the game will be in 4k resolution ? Thanks !
in autexec i have put:

There's an option to setup desktop (native) resolution.
Just keep going through the different resolutions values and you will see it.
hi, now i understand why that was not working. My desktop is set at 1920x1080, i changed it to 4k resolution now, and yes that works.
