This appears to be a Su-27P that was assigned earlier to Soviet Air Defense units. Theres also a possibility that this is the Su-27S.

This is the standard single seat Flanker-B missing the landing gear, and the IRST. They will be included in a separate W3D file. As far as i know the Su-27S and the Su-27p look exactly the same and are called Flanker-B by NATO. Russia still uses them to date. Since only some of them were upgraded to Su-27SM and Su-27SM3, they will be included as the main air superiority fighter. Wikipedia says a 100 were upgraded, other websites say 50. As you suggested before, an upgrade button will be added to the airfield, this will provide the player with new fighters/bombers such as Su-35, Su-34, MIG-35, and the T-50 Pakfa instead of the Su-27S, Su-24, MIG-29, and the Su-27SM/SM3,.

There are more Su-27SM mid life upgrades in the field than the SM3 variant. The SM3 contract along with Su-35S and Su-30M2 was placed in 2009 due to delays in the Pak Fa program. The SM3 began to reach IOC in 2012 at Krimsk air base along with the Su-30M2. The contract was only for 12 SM3 as an interim purchase and until the Pak Fa reaches IOC the Su-27 will likely continued to be modernized to SM standard from S/P.

Also the Mig-35 has not been purchased for service and has not entered service. Its still in the development phase.

yes i read about the 12 Su-27SM3 before, and the mig-35 is still under development but the mod events will take place in 2018. Also, the Su-27SM and the Su-27SM3 will be considered as one aircraft (Su27SM/SM3) which will replace the Su-27S once the upgrade is purchased. That is because they are very similar to each other. Finally to balance it all out, US, Chinese and GLA prototypes will be available on the mod too. As mentioned in the mod description, the goal is realism but without sacrificing arcade. So its like 90% realism and 10% arcade. Now you can argue that all these units will complicate things but i think if game mechanics and balance are studied well things will work out in the end especially if it is given time and if every persons opinion is considered. There is another question which pops out: what about drones? they will be included as scouts and maybe as bombers to be called off the map or probably built by the player. I am not going to make fast decisions and if i do so things will be revers-able. I do have a vision, but its still incomplete however each person on moddb including you is completing it in a step by step process. i do have evidence on how is that happening but i guess i talked a lot already. i hope i answered most of ur questions.

btw i am thinking of making the Su-27SM/SM3 an object upgrade which means it has to be purchased separately for each aircraft. However the other upgrade will be a universal airfield upgrade only accessible at rank 4 or 5 which will provide the player with the PAKFA, the SU-34, the MIG-35 and the Su-35 and SU-39 instead of SU-25.

I have a question: Will this mod be similar to the game "Real War", if you know it?

sorry, ive never heard of that game. The mod is trying to replicate real life battles as much as possible. Also it aims to give the player more control over his units and the battlefield in general. That is to increase the possible strategies that can be used to win a battle. Other features can be found in the description.

Does it have smoothing? Looks a bit blocky without it...

Thats true, currently all of the aircrafts i modeled dont have smoothing. I wanted to do that later however i will not be smoothing them a lot, only a little just like the AA missiles.
