Wars of the Firstborn is a modification based on the discontinued Ridder Clan Mod for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II and for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King expansion, which focuses on bringing to life as much of the Elven world from Tolkien’s epic as possible.

Be it that it is not finished yet (written as of the release of 3.00 pre-download), this mod shows extreme potential, and allows players to play with whatever gamestyle they want, be it BFME I or II. When this mod is finished, it can easily rival the Edain mod I rekon :)
Very nicely constructed mod. Also got to give it extra love because Elves are my favorite from LOTR. Overall the mod is fun, the addition of new models and textures to the Elves are nice and the new voting system is very interesting. If your a big fan of Elves this is the mod for you.
I am excited by the new gameplay and of course Valaquenta's absolutely gorgeous High Elf faction. =D
The changes I have seen so far, new factions, new units, new gameplay modes, new CaH options and new maps make The Ridder Clan Mod phenomenal.
