Wars of the Firstborn is a modification based on the discontinued Ridder Clan Mod for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II and for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King expansion, which focuses on bringing to life as much of the Elven world from Tolkien’s epic as possible.

In today's showcase we will show you the newly integrated High-elves AI for BFME 1 Mode. To make this fun we made them do battle against the Gondor AI.

Hello friends and followers,

To keep the updates going today we want to showcase something special: the High-Elves Bfme1 Mode AI. Previously we had shown the Gondor AI only in the days of the Ridder Clan Mod. Today we show you that the AI has been implemented for the High-elves as well, and what better way to show this than to pin these 2 against each other in a skirmish battle.

Obviously the AI will be implemented for all factions but this is so you have have a taste of it. The BFME 1 Mode can still be activated through the Voting System and the AI will react accordingly (Castle or Fortress mode). This is something we felt we really lacked in v3.02 and something that had a huge impact on whether or not it is feasible to keep the Bfme1 mode in the mod. Luckily Samsara took upon himself this task to ensure we have AI for BFME1 and as so we decided to keep it in Wars of the Firstborn.

These buildings and units are looking awesome - really looking forward to having a chance to play the mod to test the AI directly!

Thanks! We will keep you updated with the progress. Our main focus at the moment is the Mirkwood faction but these are planned for the next release as well.

I am liking the reimagining/revamping/expansion of the RC mod. Keeping to the roots that hooked me, and still expanding it. Looking good!

Glad to still see you around and glad you like the new vision. Unfortunately we could not carry on the CAH system but hopefully we can make up with other goodies. ^^

Well, I quite literally never use CaH, unless it is needed by a custom map, so for me that doesn't make a difference. And there are already plenty of goodies, but hearing there might be EVEN MORE. Aw yiss.
