We're back with some news, stalkers.
Let's start with the graphics. By having a new loading method, even a big map like ours will load without PhysX so we've decided to start working on concrete visual improvements by implementing the the all-new high-res (optional) textures and graphical enhancements to give a new realistic and more defined look to the environment.
After getting some professional help with the sound effects in the game, we have 320 new sound effects, with many variations for any type of location. Almost any action has a sound, all the stalkers in the background talk and work on different things, the atmosphere of each camp is unique and defined by its history.
After years of searching, we've finally found a professional animator. He's completely reworking the skeleton of the player's model- this will give us many new possibilities for high-quality and realistic animations.
Textures, animations, models and locations mean more content to show. The main work aspect was and still is the engine, and we weren't able to show the progress with some media until now. We're planning to post way more images and videos, soon of the new build as well.
We face new problems everyday, but we've never found something we weren't able to solve. Working in a completely different sector (multiplayer gaming) differs drastically from working on an "offline" game. The scale and perspective are sometimes too big for some of us. We're spending all our free time to work on all the elements of this project, and we really can't do more than this. Publically declaring our work created both scepticism and endless waiting in the most of the stalker community, but we've received some help from experienced people, so now the project can really get going.
Once the build is up, we'll be able to post more than a video each day, showing all the new implementations. As always, for any question, you can contact us on Facebook via PM.
Thank you for the attention, your support and your patience. Now, we'll leave you with some screenshots and a new video. The uploading drastically decreases the quality, the settings weren't on ultras and the original screens were 1280, so the images won't have the good look of the upcoming videos.

What are we expecting as far as weaponry goes? Will we see a revamped vanilla set? Or can we eventually see something similar to the Arsenal Overhaul mods?

What are PC Specifications for minimum graphics,cause i doubt that my potato can handle this kind of graphics?
Can your potato play stalker? if yes, expect FPS increase. Of course you won't be able to play with best setting if you can't play stalker on best settings.
I hope the SVD animation is slowed down, because that look floaty and weird, like hes firing it in space.
Game still looking better than before as always though, thats a big plus.

Yes, thanks to the optimization if you were able to run the original CoP your computer will handle this.
Wow! You really surpass my expectations. The new name for the mod is nice and now this graphics overhaul in action look incredible.
I guess game is coming in 2016 ? I hope we'll get Alpha state as christmass gift :3.

Ok lets try luck, I have some questions.
1. Will You remake every single weapon and add more? and if YES will it be simillar to Arsenal Overhoul?
2. Will you add different hands to each armor? (Like in GUNSLINGER mod)
3. Will you add more armors? and helmets? (would be cool to see finally first original bulat helmet seen only on dead military stalkers)
4. About animations, those will be animations of reload different weapons or also walking, sprinting etc?
I know it may be too much questions, and maybe on some of them you cant give precise answer cos there may be much more work to do, but ANY answer to those would be awesome.
