Republic Assault is a full scale conversion mod for the Petroglyphy game Star Wars Forces of Corruption. Using elements from both the current canon, and existing EU to create the best possible game experience.
Built my own Valiant, and then ended up redoing the textures because they quite frankly sucked. Much happier with the current version. Based it off of J's with me adding a few different details.
The C70 Charger also got a facelift for a similar reason, it sucked. The proportions and details sucked, the topology sucked, the UVs sucked. It was bad, so here's V2!
Also messing around with corvette squadrons, depending on how further testing goes with the Charger, it'll be applied to others.

The Valiant is one of the few fanon designs I really love because it totally fits with the design theme of the Clone Wars-Republic. It's like the lovechild of an Acclamator with a Venator.
For sure, definitely one of the best fanon designs to come out for the CW era.
That and it has no fixed or "official" armament so people using it can assign it whatever they need for balance purposes.
Taking a look at the enlarged picture I noticed for example your model omitting the two main battery turrets other Valiant variants have on the ventral side of the hull.
Since the hangar openings are pointing forward, the Valiant is normally one of the few ship models that can afford ventral turrets as well as dorsal ones.
Nonetheless, the thick plating shown on its belly suggest the Valiant having quite some armor as well.
Any chances of adding more firepower?
Onto the Valiant? It's already got heavy turbolasers, and a very impressive fighter carrying capacity. Not sure if it needs more considering it's size and role.
