The message scale determines the size of the HUD, by default it should be at 2, make sure it is at 2. Mod confirmed to run on GZDoom 4.3.

Ratchet and Clank: Going to Hell is a true to roots mod for DOOM 2, meaning that most weapons function the same, and have been adapted to have functionality for the DOOM 2 universe.

In 2003, Ratchet and Clank took the wrong trans-locator, and find out that Hell is a real place in their part of the galaxy. On Ratchet's arrival, Clank was nowhere to be found, and to no surprise, so was his arsenal. If there is any hope of making an escape, Ratchet must power through hordes of demons to find Clank, and find out who is behind all of this. Today, Ratchet and Clank are going to Hell.

  • Installation
    1. Drag and drop the .pk3 over GZDOOM.exe.
    2. Easy, right?
  • Controls
    • You can double jump.
    • Double tapping the crouch button will activate your charge boots.
    • The PDA is in weapon slot 1 along with the Wrench, it's very simple to use.
  • Credits
    • Ratchet and Clank: Going to Hell was built with SLADE v3.1.11 and newer.
    • Sprites were edited and created with Gimp v2.10.8 and newer.
    • Most sprites and sounds were recorded and captured from "Ratchet and Clank: Going
    • Commando" using PCSX2 v1.5.0 and newer.
    • Sounds were recorded and edited with Audacity v2.3.2.0 (an old version at the time).
    • Font used is "SimianDisplay Orangutan," (originally used the menu screens of RC1 and RC2).
    • Music used was composed and performed by David Bergeaud, and remixed by Remstage Music.
    • Most assets are from Insomniac Games' Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando.
    • Some sprites were rendered with Blender, the 3D modeling software.
    • Mod created by Joshua Freeman/jfsniper08.

One could count the polygons on these weapons, I don't think they require a 4k texture to show off the 200 polygon count.

Now if you're talking about the muzzle flashes, then yes; I could agree with you on that.
