Raising the Bar is a mod based off of the idea of amalgamating the earliest concepts of Half-Life 2 into a coherent story. This mod is not a leak-fix, nor is it a concept art recreation gallery; it will be a full story with inspiration from the old material as well as our own ideas of how to make it all fit together.

Well, to answer your first part of the question; we really don't keep track of how much of a certain % of the mod is done, because then it sets limits for how long we can really test it. Basically, when it's done, it's done, and we will definitely keep you guys informed of any news.
Second question- Our first news post was in December 2012, so it'll be two years old this December. :)

By the way, do you need help translating something of english language to spanish?

Nice work so far! I'm going to ask this question, probably a few times if not answered but here goes. Will the Alyx gun be implanted as a weapon in this? I've always wondered why Valve cut her gun from the game. At least giving the player one at some point would have been nice.
Also, when do you think this will be near completion? I know this question must be asked a lot but I have had this on my mind for a while now.

The Alyxgun is a sticky issue, as it doesn't fit very well in the sense of story outside of Alyx's use. However, if we do end up adding it, it might be an easter egg weapon. Again, that's not certain at this point.
As to the completion date, it will be done when it's done, even we don't really know for sure how long it will take.
