So there haven't really been any news posts for a while, and now is the perfect time to post some news.
First of all: x64 is finished. I played Radium from beginning to end with only minor bugs, so that is no longer holding us back :)
Also, please welcome Linda to the team (username on here is Methelina).
She is a professional Visual FX supervisor, 3D artist, and game designer that has worked on games such as Life is Feudal and Crysis 2.

She is now overseeing the graphics in Radium and will be helping me out with implementing a full PBR pipeline (all I did was PBR light before, and I screwed it up bad) along with a host of other features.
Needless to say she is a valuable asset to the team and we're glad she has joined.
There will be a video demonstration in the coming weeks showing certain graphical elements of Radium off.

Source code for COP in x64 is now out, and Radium will be making good use of it.
People have been waiting since I said I would have an announcement soon, so I'm here to fill people in.

Hopefully not too much. I personally think it looks great as it is. Even vanilla weather is nowhere near to being bleak.
The concrete texture looked a bit shiny thats all.
Given the amount of love and work in general put into this mod, as well as the changes to the engine which would most likely affect the STALKER-experience on a global level, it would be foolish to not give you guys a vote for Mod of The Year. Keep up the good work!

Gameplay video soon?
Will you include silent knife take-down animations like the ones some far cry games have?
I doubt that's possible to accomplish with STALKER games...
Would be cool tho...
Will you be reworking the general lighting system? I think STALKER lighting is somewhat dull in clear weather conditions. Like the sunlight intensity seems similar to that in overcast condition.
Its hard to describe but this is one of the better clear weather lighting I found in any STALKER mod.

I agree with you. Stalker daylights are very bland. People should not be afraid to apply shadows even on full daylight. When there are no shadows and all is lit, it then looks butt ugly when you can notice too much of the details.
This is amazing, guys! So much work put into a FREE mod for a game that doesn't have that many players...I hope that we could donate to you someday, since I would gladly spare some pounds for your work anytime!
