Description

Fixes: Steam version rank crashes, X-18 barkeep dialog crash, All scope crashes, chimera_strong crash, other_answer_item_cc crash, wpn_m16a3_sk1 crash and more... This patch also adds pick up sounds from the WoT mod which change depending on what type of item is being picked up. Install by extracting into your Stalker directory and overwriting all files.

It fixes the melee attack by npc's too?
I mean my screen goes nuts when I get punched by a npc and then my game crashes.

If it's still bad, then try it with a lower value.

Thank you for putting together this excellent mod, I'm really enjoying playing it. Btw, I found that if you have the recording software plays.tv running in the background, it makes the game crash in some levels, I have experienced this in the Garbage near the level changer to Agroprom and in the BAR when you arrive at the barricade. Keep up the good work!

I'm not sure if anyone else is getting this, but so far I've been getting some crashes at the Army Warehouses. Is this something that happens with the Mod? And if so, will it be fixed in a future patch?

My Progress so far is I'm on my way to the Dark Valley for the main story, but decided to pay a quick visit to the AW for some loot first. Are the crashes a result of me going out of order and breaking(?) progression? I could use some answers.

Problem aside I love this mod, and keep up the good work <3

Army Warehouses are badly optimized since vanilla. You should lower your graphical settings.

Ah okay

also question as well. I just finished Lab X16 and delivered the documents to Barkeep, so far no problems(save no.1). Then I went over to Duty and accepted the quests from both the general and the duty vendor (save no.2) and headed off to army warehouses, loading into the AW crashes my game now and if I load save no.2 it still crashes (in rostok). I can load save no.1 with no problem, is this still a graphical issue or game/mod issue?

No idea what could be causing that, but playing from an earlier save that works should fix it.

indeed, on one of the PCs I had, game ran on max without problems, however on Army Warehouses it was always less than 20 fps, with hiccups up to 2 fps. Badly rendered area, and due to the nature of the engine each setup acts differently with the game, in crazy different ways.

That's a common shader problem that shows up when using the scopes or (more often) the binoculars. I've seen the same in many XRay engine games and mods over the years.

It's related to the SSAO or depth of field shader if I recall correctly. Turning off SSAO (or HBAO) fixes it as I recall, but I don't know of a simple fix that allows using higher-quality AO.

I've always just lived with it, myself, since it only happens when using a scope or the binocs (you can also make it happen by getting *very* close to a wall texture and looking at it from just the right angle).

I watch it without even using a sight and binoculars.
I use bright shaders in the game and lowered the shader blur settings(DOF). It seems that excessive blurring has been added to hide these problems.

I noticed that a bloodsucker had fallen in the engine room.

Delete any saves with that problem and reload a previous save.

This problem with game saving arises always, if you save the game in the room with a bloodsucker and further anywhere in the Agro catacombs.
The weapon lying on the ground and artifacts on this level are constantly disappearing. All this seems to fall through the textures.

The only way I can launch the game is through the Settings.exe from GOG, but when I want to start a new game I get no sound from the intro cutscene. Renaming the entire character voice folder did nothing.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any clue as to how I can solve it?
