(buried)

To be honest, I think it seems a little dull.

I think there should be some low, smooth hills. a 2-square mile plateau is pretty bland.

I'm going to have to agree with Dr_Nick here. The screenshot looks great, but something even as simple as a little rolling hill could make it tons better.

Maybe when I have extra time after the IGF build. Adding hills would require me to hand-place the groups of flowers so they deform properly with the hill.

I say it has a strange feeling to it and fits in well with the game.

Its a prairie, and it should be flat! Believe it or not, there are places in the world that don't have much for hills. ;P

That's nice, it doesn't even look like much madness, just a plain meadow, where definitely nothing will happen o.O

Description

Prototyping the buttercup fields. The sky is from cs_militia. The vignetting at the top of the screen is from the stealth system that I forgot to disable when taking the screenshot, though now I think I'm going to keep it - a happy accident, I guess.

(Slight spoiler of sorts:) In my mods, I usually like to have some sort of duality: in Polaris, it's the conflicted narration vs. events; in Handle with Care, it's the green interiors vs. orange memories; in Much Madness, I think it's going to be the simple non-photorealistic submarine vs. the hyper-realism of the buttercup field.
