Is there any reason to put the content inside a walled-garden (Discord)?
I saw the trend nowdays, and specially in highly-active STALKER projects and I guess I should finally ask the reasons.
I understand that is easier to manage just a community, but Discord needs an account and mixes all the data from a user and even asks for personal phone number as "verification", which for me feels really invasive.
There are alternatives like Matrix which are more open and less offending to how you want to interact with them.
Thanks in advance and good luck with the project.
Verified phone number is required for our Discord for 4 reasons:
1. I want to keep my community safe from the bots and multi-account banned people;
2. We are accepted for Discovery;
3. We have priced-subscription system based on Discord;
4. We are turned on "community type" of discord-servers.

the discord links on the website dont work anymore, how do you join the discord
i was in the discord before but I left because nobody responded to my verification but now i cant rejoin and it says the link expired
Developer has mentioned that if you join discord server and then decide to leave, this will lead you to get a permanent ban from server. However, on top of the page it is written ''(VERIFICATION PAUSED UNTIL UPDATE)'' so i believe this is why the ''voice verification'' is disabled till now.Anyway, to answer your question, you got banned.
