This mod adds a motion tracker pickup, some HD textures, updated models from the Doom 3D mod, upscaled sprites from Doom 64 CE and enhanced gore for the Assault Rifle Zombie from Brutal Doom 64. I get credit for none of these things, only making them work together with the rest of my mod and figuring out how to get the motion tracker in.
So I've taken the radar powerup from Kaiser's Doom Absolution mod and edited it so that it gives you a motion tracker on the HUD. The code needs some fixing, though, because it causes some monsters to temporarily freeze and doesn't carry over from level to level. The tracker used is from the PSX AVP Doom mod, so credit goes to the people involved with that. This powerup replaces NonSolid Twitch.
The Doom 3D mod has better models than the standard packs that I've seen, including animated candles. It's a very small improvement, but the models definitely look better. All relevant models have been added to Rabid's Crap. Credit goes to the creator of Doom 3D.
I've also put in most of the upscaled sprites from Doom 64 CE; this goes as far as to include the Nailgun and ejected bullets and shells. The game looks way cooler with these in there! Props to those who made Doom 64 CE.
I just finalized the basic gore for the Assault Rifle Zombie. That makes three monsters so far.
The HD textures are still coming from Hoover1979's pack.
It's been way too long since I've released a version of my mod, otherwise the motion tracker would work better. I'll continue to work on it, but I didn't want to let everyone think this mod was dead. More to come!
