Quiet Rehabilitation brings a different story of Gordon Freeman being taken prisoner directly to Nova Prospekt. In this alternate route, without meeting Barney, he must find a way to escape from this old facility heavily guarded by Combine forces and surrounded by unusual creatures.
Before ending 2021, I've been thinking in a way to celebrate 4 years of the first part ever released of Quiet Rehabilitation to the public. The previous media update was an important milestone but I wanted to give the players a bit of real taste of what is coming. Therefore, I decided to update my old demo from 2017 to modern standards.
The map is current designed with a bunch of common puzzles and dynamic combat constantly present in the whole mod. The purpose of updating the demo is to showcase how these key features will play out, how players will react/solve them. You can go ahead and play it right now!
Be advice, the demo is still very short and a major script point of dialogue is missing (still working on it!)- but the essential is there.
Going back, makes me realize how much I've changed and improved in Hammer. I'm very thankful to those who played and gave feedback about it.
Also, MOTY is currently live, feel free to vote this mod up! Being at least nominated to top100 would be freaking cool, but winning I doubt it. There a lots of amazing mods out there that deserves the spot so be sure to give them a support!
