Quake II Evolution is a grapichal upgraded engine with rewritten particle system, new memory system, new file system and more. The engine will NOT break any network related side that means you can still play online. In the feature i hope it will support anticheat.dll and R1CH´s enchanted network protocol. If you wish to join the team go on the forums or contact me

So is it working for everyone?
How I can start it? What's need for launch? And evolution.exe dont start and shutdown whith error.
Just exract the files into your quake2 floder and run evolution.exe
strange... it's not work.
Just like Hey-Pi-Ron said. When im trying to run q2evolution.exe (all mod contents already extracted tom my Q2 dir), i get some cannot run try to install this application again error. Dunno maybey i should try compatibility mode.
and how do you make it standalone? i want to create a q2 engine game :)
Im not really sure what you mean by 'standalone'.
I use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 for coding. You can get the open sourc quake 2 engine on id softwares home page or you could start out with a already moded q2 engine.
hey how what programs do you use to create Q2 Mods?
