This is the initial release of Q4E. It may stil contain many bugs so please send bug reports to the appropriate location.
Quake 4: Evolved 1.0
This mod is a complete graphics overhaul for Quake 4's aging engine.
The features added in this release are:
*Enhanced Shaders and reflections
*Enhanced Detail Terrain and Bumpmaps
This mod also comes with a new menu and cursor. Don't wait for Quake 5 to be released, enhance your Quake 4 experience today!
There is a special menu located in the settings labeled "Evolve". This menu has the setting for the activation of
bloom, the FPS counter, flashlight reflection and the FPS limiter/V-sync.
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ or Intel 3.4Ghz Pentium 4
Graphics Card: ATI X900 or Nvidia 6400
HDD: 100MB HDD space required
WARNING: The Quake 4 1.4.2 patch MUST be installed!
1. Unzip file
2. Put the resulting Q4E folder into your Quake 4 installation directory
3. Activate mod from Quake 4's mod menu and enjoy

It seems a user is experiencing problems with using the mod on Mac OSX. I have no idea whether this is an OS problem, or a mod problem but since I made the mod on Windows Operating Systems I have no idea how to fix it.
