This is the mod that sparked Quake 3 graphics modding and the predecessor of the famous "Chili Quake XXL" mod.
With that said, there is nor reason to download this mod rather that Chili Quake XXL.
I left this one online for "historical" reasons so to say ;-)

Hi fellow quakers, i have created a lite version of Metal-Tech v2.0 mod. It is called Metal_tech Lite. That mod has all of the graphical improvements from quake 3 revolution mod/ Chili Quake XXL minus the UI and HUD elements.

There is a separate mod called HQQ quake that adds High resolution but authentic quake 3 style UI and HUD.
