Hello all!

PuzEdit has gotten 0 updates or blog posts in over 2 years. That's a long time! Unfortunately, I have had little motivation or time to work on it. Thankfully, that has since changed!

Changes

PuzEdit is now based in the Godot engine. I have found it easier to use and have made far more progress with the Godot version than the Unity version of PuzEdit. PuzEdit was based on a Godot 4 beta, as it required a feature that Godot 3 did not have. Due to Godot 4 releasing and gaining full support, PuzEdit development will be much quicker!

PuzEdit already has a strong working prototype, giving the user the ability to place "entities" (items), manipulate map geometry, and even export a functional map to hammer. There is still a lot of work to do, but I hope to release a functional version of PuzEdit soon™.

The Future

PuzEdit will have frequent development updates posted in the Discord server, with many previews already posted. I am currently focusing on polishing the VMF exporting, and then properly implementing each vanilla PeTI feature.
