Note: requires zdoom not gzdoom Ever wondered what Punchout would be like if it was in 3D? Well now you can find out just how different it is than you might think. Dodge heavy blows, duck swinging punches, perform heavy combos on your opponents, and even train with doc! This wad contains all of the opponents from Mike Tysons Punchout and Punchout with Mr. Dream, as well as extra characters, such as Gabby Jay, Masked Muscle, Rick Bruiser, and Aran Ryan. Then, when you've defeated all your main opponents, fight the ones again who dare challenge your title. You have two attack types, pressing one will make you punch up, while pressing two will make you punch lower, the default. Tired of just being in the ring? Fight against your enemys on the streets in the secret level. and At the end of it all, you'll have to take down the most powerful boxer Mike Tyson. Note: You must run this in zdoom to work, because gzdoom messes up the weapons. This is a fangame and is not from Nintendo or offical

This version includes boxing glove weapon sprites, upgraded 3rd person sprites, actual difficulty, Deathmatch (must warp to "train" map) and fixes some problems with the gzdoom version. Still highly recommended to run zdoom.

i will say this so far. i tried some of this out a little bit, and some of the levels i kinda used cheats on just to see what is ahead and such. this could be quite an interesting thing to try out as normal as possible. i never played Punchout at all. but since this is a thing, i'm up for trying it in this kinda style. i tried out secret Wolfenstein levels. and the map 32 replacement was funny. i don't know if there's a way to get to those levels. but if not. i think it would be cool to do so instead of just using a warp only type of thing. i might do at least 2 streams of this mod. for like. today i will try out the mod normal like. then one day, i'll try it with a few little mods and see how things play out
Thanks for being interested in my mod. Each boxer has a certain strategy and or pattern you must follow. Yes they are a bit random, but each attack is dodgeable, and all the boxers are beatable. To get to the secret level, you must press use on a hidden nazi outside the ring on map15, it will take you to map 31. Make sure to have the alt-fire, reload, and duck keys enabled.
well. after experiencing the mod fully during my stream, it was quite an experience to play this. had me on the edge of my seat lazer focused. i had to skip a couple of levels sadly. cause one. on map 13 i think. my opponent didn't get up at all when it seems like he was suppose to. and the other was cause, i kept getting whopped a lot. and i wanted to make some progress for the stream to show the others off and such. but that hidden nazi. i remember him now. what about going to map 32? sadly i had to kinda cut it a bit short, cause my joysticks wouldn't move due to me possibly pausing my game and also using the console command on top of it. i might come back to it again with some mods enabled or something. but who knows
Yeah I found out the glitch on map 13 and I'm fixing it now. I will add a mode where you can get up as well soon.
