Description
Soviet basic infantry. Armed with PPSH-41 smg. Better for use in offensive tactics
Testing of new infantry models. Not final version. These one uses allied javelin soldier animation. Later it possible will be replaced with new animation.
P.s. don't worry about RA2 style conscript. You will see them as flamethrowers

aw, the RA3 conscript was actually my favorite unit, kalashnikov, ushanka and molotovs, are there anything else more iconic?
Only problem is that they was to cartoony, but with darker coats like in the beta they look very good (or with brown coats like in paradox)
shadows are blocky, other then that, the look great, old times ;)

А что именно было "загажено"? Путешествия во времени с плохими их последствиями вообще-то фишка Ред Алертов начиная с самой первой игры. Китчевость и аляпистость - да ее и в Ред Алерте 2 было с лихвой - дирижабли в качестве ВВС у Советов, ППШ в руках пехотицнев того же СССР, боевые гигантские кальмары, тесла катушки, водители танков, цитирующие Хрущева и прочая-прочая.
Медведей добавили в РА3? Так дрессированные медведи полный реал, в отличие от кальмаров, если что. Убрали у танка "Апокалипсис" стрельбу по воздушным целям? Так это называется перебалансировкой... Атомную бомбу вырезали? Так это мало того что обоснуй имеет, так еще и вместо нее генератор черных дыр дали. Смысл то тот же- долго заряжается, а потом сносит изрядный кусок вражеской базы и(или) армии.

I like the old Conscripts, too, but these are great. It's not like liking one precludes the other; they're different art directions!
А почему ППШ? К тому времени АК-47 уже должны были появиться, события третьего RA куда позже 51-го года разворачиваются. Или апгрейдом выдавать будут? :)
Это скорее навеяно Ред Алерт 2, где пехотинцы у СССР тоже бегали с ППШ. Но возможно что они получат АК позже. Возможно будет и более тяжелая пехота с ними или же будет даваться в виде апгрейда. Пока это все обсуждается

Upgrading with AK is unserious.
Teslas are hard, so AK - for diversants or partisans.
Thogh, as you have noticed from other comments, I am not for AK. I am for SVT-40 for such secret infantry.
Not that it's bad, I just don't think it goes with the soviets. Maybe if the Soviets were a bit more professional (if that's what this mod is aiming for, then I take back this comment)
Not that bad. I should say, make the Conscipt a bit more fatter? Or add more equipment.
Also, kinda retexture the Helmet, maybe make it green.

I am for PPSH-41! Only PPSH - it is really original style of Red Alert. AK can be seen in too many strategies.
Red alert is world without AK and M-16.
And what about amunition and gas-masks ?
Do not know how about infranty, but flacktroopers must use gas-masks (for realism).
In general, if we have an alternate-history world without IRL WW2, AK-47 wouldn't have been invented at all. Things are very simple - if M.Kalashnikov didn't get shot and wounded by German troops on Eastern Front, he wouldn't even get to weapons' design business at all.
However, the problem is with the first Red Alert, featuring both AKs and M-16s. RA1 is by my opinion the worst in all series. Where RA2 and RA3 are generally satirical and humorous, RA1 is "serious" and played around a singly idea - anti-Russian libel and propaganda.
What's more - it is full of anachornisms (like appearance of M-16s or MiG-29s in 1950s (the latter is outright impossible for 4-th generation jet fighter to co-exist with piston-driven Yak fighter in Soviet Air Force at a single time frame), and logical fallacies (like Allies using predominantly american (and anachronistic) equipment instead of combination of German and British one, that would be likely for the alliance of European nations).
PPSH-41 is both original and serious(as for world without WW2 so without stg-44 and without some changings in tactics )
