Project Vanshing Point takes place in a city that has been abandoned for the last 50 years. While different factions roam the outskirts and mountains a distress signal begins erupting from the tower at the center of the city. your mission is simple: travel through the abandoned city and figure out what is happening at the heart of the tower. We are trying to push source to it's limits to expect the requirements to be fairly high for a source based game.

Yes everything is running in-game. The version this teaser was based on runs with 60+fps on a Radeon 4850 and a core 2 duo.
Amazing, nice nice mapping and the graphics look beyond what most people were probably expecting, I have never underestimated Source.
Source is very capable if you take your time with it. And of course if you are creating something that is going to be PC exclusive you can really take advantage of the hardware. We have used around 20-30% of our graphics budget right now so the final version will possibly look a lot better than this.
This is gonna be like punching my computer in the gut several times...it will hurt but it will work :)
