Welcome to Project Reality: Battlefield 2 (aka PR:BF2), a modification for the retail Battlefield 2 multi-player PC game. Project Reality's aim is to create a more realistic combat environment than standard Battlefield 2, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Most of the aspects of Battlefield 2 that have the capacity to be modified have been tweaked, or completely overhauled, to reflect their real life counterparts, for increased realism. Ballistics have for example also been audited to reflect those of real weapons, including characteristics such as damage, deviation and bullet drop depending on a weapon systems calibre. Since EA and DICE no longer support Battlefield 2 and is no longer being played online, the Project Reality team made PR:BF2 a standalone game. No longer is a installation of Battlefield 2 required and we have implemented our own online account system for online play.

Follow the steps closely that it tells you to follow. And if you using Vista, run as an administrator set for run in compatibility with windows xp 32 mode. Also make sure you have updated your BF2 to version 1.41, and that you have both the PR Core files and the PR Map Pack downloaded. If this is even what you are referring as to what isn't working, figure it must be.

To clear up what I meant on the looks more like a Famas. Well of course it is a QBZ-95, but I was just implying that it looked more like a Famas than Modlovers comment of a G-36 with optics. Also the Chinese are notorious for copying designs and building off of weapons and vehicles used by other nations.

Specially in the'ol Cold War-era days China was producing weapons (specially from USSR) basically like "candy"!

They basically produced their own copies of everything ranging from small arms to tanks or planes (for example, because there's a LOT more) mainly "borrowed" from Warsaw Pact countries.

More recently (specially from the 70's on) they have taken a lot of interest in western weapons (and market), meaning they have their own established production of western-based goods.

Want a cheaper M16 copy? Try the chinese CQ M311! Want a copy of an M4A1??? Just get a CQ-M4 carbine!!! (lol retains the "M4" marking !!!)
You always fancied the mighty M1911 but never got to "collect" one because of the high price? Get a more "accessible" (aka cheaper lol) chinese made 1911A1!!! (then you just "draw" the "M" and voila!!! Your own M1911!
You ask, Norinco produces!!! :D

The US government was so ****** with this stuff that they even blocked many of those goods since 1993 ^^

China basically produces copies of all the major weapon designs worldwide, for a more accessible price of course ^^.
They sure know how to handle economy, that's for sure.

Heh but the QBZ series is indigenously designed and made, not sure if its a dirvitive though, I'd bring up the fact it doesn't use NATO 5.56 but that wouldn't be much of an arguement because cartridge sizes doesn't have the big an effect on the moving parts in a gun right? (as in other than a size change)
