Project Hegemonia is a total conversion mod for Paradox Interactive's grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV. The mod sets the time back to the age of antique empires, like Persia, the Roman Empire or the Chinese Warring states. It features a map twice the size of vanilla, focused on the ancient world of Europe, Africa and Asia with thousands of provinces and hundreds of new countries. The new map is carefully hand-drawn by a dedicated team of modders, many with historical background, aiming to offer an authentic representation of the ancient world. Project Hegemonia will offer a type of gameplay that makes use of many of the existing systems, but also expands upon them and adds completely new ones to ensure your nation will have to overcome a multitude of challenges outside and within your borders. Will your nation achieve hegemony over its neighbours? Will you expand your borders and conquer the known world? Will you forge an empire that will be remembered for ages to come?
