This Mod intents to create a cooperative fun Star Wars game, that reminds somewhat "Counter-Strike for Half-Life mod" on the Star Wars universe, but with a few additional features.

It is set in a timeline between the 'Attack of the Clones' and the 'Episode III' (At this current time, its name has yet to be confirmed).

Featuring a different balance from the standard Jedi Outcast game, and it has 2 different factions (Republic and Separatists) with 3 distinct character categories (Bounty Hunter, Jedi and Soldier) plus a Senator, and each one with new weapons and equipments showed at the Ep.I and II, featuring also 5 different cooperative mission types.

Also featuring "real" weapons handling and damage of the Star Wars Universe. Lightsabers will slash and probably kill, guns will also.

Hopefully it will be a fun mod which may be available soon in a Internet Server, LAN house or Cybercafe near you.... ;-)

Class System

News

The Class System is almost complete, now with the 3 different categories and the Senator. The game already handles force powers available only for Jedi/Sith, non-Jedi are limited.

I've also changed the "walking" animation for the sword handling Jedi, so the Jedi act like he is standing still with the Torso (keeping the saber stance), and the legs walk normally, that way it shouldn't harm his/her companions, and would be cool at the same time. ;)

The Class System must have a few more changes, and I am working on that now; like a dynamic model switching system; that will allow the model to be changed and the player set his current model class and THEN his model, since I am not happy with selecting the class "by model".

After that, my next stop will be the economic system.... ;)

Hey Commodus, thanks for dropping by!

No I haven't created any new animations, and yes, I know it's not possible without the Ghoul2 proper tools (and they're not available for poor old us).

What I have meant is: I've changed the torso animation with the current stance while the Jedi walks with the saber turned on; and in that way no companions will be hurt.

And thanks for pointing that out, I'll have that corrected on the text and sorry about the confusion. :)
