Have you ever wanted to roam around in the Half-Life style 2005 Beta of Portal, or maybe fight the Beta GLaDOS in the 2006 Beta? Well, look no further! This page will give you free access to both betas! You can download them separate, or Download them both in the Portal Beta Bundle! Once you download a beta (or both betas) Instructions on how to install the betas will be included in the .rar file. You absolutely will need Steam. Portal is required for this to work.
Summary of the 2005 Portal Beta:
This is the earliest version of Portal. Actually, it mainly uses assets from Half-Life 2. There is no GLaDOS, instead you just escape. You will notice some familiar test chambers in there. These are the early versions of popular test chambers that are still in the game today.
Summary of the 2006 Portal Beta:
The 2006 Beta is almost exactly like present-day Portal, but with a few differences. For instance, GLaDOS was added in, but she was a floating cube of rollermines from Half-Life 2.
