Installation:
- Extract the zip.
- Move the Portal Pro folder into your steam SourceMods folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods).
- Restart steam and Portal Pro should be in your games list.
Uninstallation:
- Delete the Portal Pro folder from SourceMods.
Some notes:
- It is recommended that you have subtitles turned on.
- It is recommended that you have portal funnel enabled for all levels.
- No levels or challenges require any glitch portal techniques (including “portal tunneling”) or angled flings.
- As of this release, the game is only available in English.
- I haven't tested the game on a Mac, so it might not work.
Things I'm looking for:
- General bugs
- Framerate drops
- Unintended puzzle solutions (that do not include glitch portal techniques. I will not necessarily to remove them, unless they can trivialize the level.)
- Things that are unclear or needlessly confusing
If you want to know the name of a level you're on, there are a few ways to get it. Save your game and look at the name of the save, or if you have the console open type “cl_showfps 1” which should display the name of the bsp along with the frames per second.

Downloaded it, played it, got stuck at the ride (map's name) and gave up until tomorrow. From what i saw, i must be close to the end. Anyway, absolutely loved it! It took some time to actually become challenging, but most of the later chambers required good thinking. I found a couple of unintended solutions, but i followed your advice and tried to solve the puzzles the normal way. I'll take some pics and let you know about them.
Regarding other issues, only one. I could hardly hear the voice that was talking to me. I put some other maps, just in case Portal went wild, but GlaDOS' volume was fine. Except this, nothing else felt wrong to me...
Keep it up. You got a great mod there...
I've seen something that isn't right...
In that lvl with the Rocket turret [bend] You can open a door, but when you do that you'll get colors and that kind of stuff...
But It's a really cool mod! It was kinda easy... but still it was cool =)
Here are the two more "serious" unintended solutions i found, in case you wanna fix them.
1. Img16.imageshack.us If you stand on the button, you can shoot a portal in the room if you are fast enough, bypassing the rest of the puzzle.
2. Img808.imageshack.us With these portals at the beginning, you can bypass the whole puzzle.
Found some more, but not really worth the mention. Btw, i used some custom textures on my second playthrough, when i took the second screenshot. Just in case anyone asks.
Maybe you want some feedbacks on bugs? In that case I found one. You sometimes get stuck in the middle of some walls that are like in 45 degrece angle. One example is in the fire pit room.
Anyways, as I said earlyer, really good mod this one.
That's a bug in the Portal engine itself, can't be fixed.
