As far as development goes we pretty much hit a dead end about two months ago. We had things stable with the soundtrack implementing well along with our third revision of the first stage. We haven't gotten to custom models yet and are still wondering if we need them. The idea is to incorperate the game into the universe of Half Life -- why bring in new weapons...

So, you're connecting up 2 totally seperate storys? Uhm, k?
I'll just wait for Portal 2 tbh.

Do you get to use the ASHPD (portal gun) in this mod?
I am currently working on a design/remake of the Portal Device that shoots a third portal. You can choose your exit portal by looking at it.
Also working with the acuracy of the portals and their size. Will have to re-tex. the portals and maybe the particals to suit them for outdoor use...
No offense, but I think that idea won't go too well, how would you be able to choose a third portal between a second and third and then when you enter one portal you'd have to enter a third, and what's the point of a third portal? I mean, it could be useful, but it would also make it easier to get through levels and harder to construct them. As for the momentum physics puzzles, you're sorta not going to need a third portal because you just nee to go in and get out of another.

Thank you - Our mapping team is doing some expirementation to have some of the reaction sequences as part of the .bat files of the maps. Thus making things easier to compile and easier on the engine, we'll see.
