After a long, bloody war in the Sudan, the governments of the United States and Russia struck an uneasy cease-fire over the fate of Africa and its burgeoning industry. This peace would be short lived, for to the north a new conflict was brewing. Ukraine, a former satellite state of the Soviet Union, sought to gain back the power from which it once reveled in. As the snow fell in a heavy midwinter storm, Ukrainian troops moved towards the border of Belarus. Without warning, Ukrainian troops attacked with a speed and effectiveness not seen since the Blitzkrieg of WWII.

It’s time for the weekend and we are back to post POE:2 news #101. Things are moving forward here on the warfront and we are very pleased with the amount of people downloading our latest VIDEOthat was released last week. IllitiFilms has already begun working on another video to showcase something new we want to show to the public but he wasn’t able to get it completed by our news posting deadline. Maybe we’ll be lucky to have something from him next week or the week after if things get too busy for him. Last week we showcased the F-18 Fighter with our official render so this week we’ll post a few screenshots for your viewing pleasure:

SgtWedge was able to submit screenshots for another map that is a “work-in-progress” for him. The new map is named “Odessa” and it’s turning out to be a beauty!

Hmm, isn't the F-18 a little too baby-blue? I know they got a tint of blue in the color, but its usually more greyish and only the reflection of the sky makes it looks so blue. The cockpit on the other side, seems to light to me. I'd tone it down a little to make it less christal clear.
This map could really become a beauty. Perhaps you can post a scrennshot of central Odessa with the next upgrade.
Cograts to the #100 Update on Moddb and for your great mod! If I weren't convinced Battlefield can't stink against ArmA, I'd probably be playing your mod all the time.

Good Job!
