Point of Contact (POC) aims to be a small scale infantry squad simulation. By depicting real world ballistics and firearm performance, realistic player speeds and a penalization for death; POC seeks to remove the arcade elements from in-game and provide immersive engagements where the player has a vested interest in his avatar and his teammates.

Weapons System Elements

-REAL ballistics suite, penetration, and damage effects
-realistic blast/shrapnel behaviour
-near miss/supression/explosion on screen effects
-weapon stoppages
-Modular equipment and weapon addons (you pick your vest and that impacts the hardware you can carry etc)
-off map air and artillery provision

Player System Elements

-Stamina system
-Arm unsupported fatigue
-Body part specific damage
-Healing/Bandaging?

Game Play Elements

-Several Game Modes
-Large Weapon Inventory (Possibly speak with arms manufacturers about copyright/authenticity etc.)
-reward the use of proper tactical strategy.
-teamplay/leadership incentives
-modularity to make adding new features easy, possibly allow user created addons to be submitted and possibly added Involving the community.

seems like another modern shooter and whats with the start screen i though this was a ut2007 mod not an hl2 mod?
